Drew Barrymore Hosts Public Skating Event in Michigan on September 11th

Drew Barrymore is hosting a mass skating event in Michigan to help promote her new film, Whip It.
Whip It, which was filmed in Birch Run, MI, is Drew’s directorial debut and stars Ellen Page as a small-town Texas teenager who rises through the ranks to become a roller derby star.
Drew will lead a public skating event on September 11th at Bonaventure Skating Center in Farmingham Hills, MI before the movie’s premiere.
Those hoping to attend the September 11 event are being urged to bring their own skates, although pairs will be available to rent. Doors open at 3:00 pm and close at 3:30 pm so participants are also being asked to arrive early.
