Josh Groban performs at ONEXONE charity event

Josh Groban performed at the 2nd annual ONEXONE Foundation Gala held at historic Bimbo’s 65 Club in San Francisco  on October 22. This is the second time he has performed at the event. Josh arrived sporting a black shirt and vest , pewter colored tie and slim cut black jeans. He wore retro looking glasses and signature tossled curls. The look was slightly more casual than he supposedly threw together at last year’s event.

In addition to his new specs, Josh showed off his quick wit. During a red carpet interview at the event, Josh said his pick for shows set in San Francisco would be “Full House.” He picked it because of its wonderful footage of the city in the opening montage. He commented on how it was “the best show ever.” When asked which San Francisco staple he would have in his earthquake kit, sour dough or Rice-a-Roni, Groban picked the Rice-a-Roni because of it’s long shelf life!
This year’s event featured Josh performing the songs “Smile” and “Changing Colours.” Other stars that joined Josh were Charlize Theron, Laila Ali, Mia Hamm, Jeremy Piven, David Arquette and Carlos Santana. Snow Patrol headlined the charity event which included a performance of  their hit single, “Chasing Cars.” The night also featured both silent and live auctions with the much talked about kiss from Charlize Theron. The winning bid came from a women who paid $140K to smooch with the actress.
Proceeds from the show and auctions will go towards fighting health issues and preserving the lives of children locally and globally. OneXOne has raised more than $7 million for children around the world.
