Fake Kanye West Death Reports Hit The Net, Amber Rose Kills The Rumors

Kanye West is dead? If you believe everything you read, you might think this is true, but it’s not.
A fake death rumor made it’s way to the internet this week, claiming the rapper/producer was killed in a car accident on Tuesday evening (October 20th).

The rumor prompted Twitter users to send “RIP Kanye West” tweets across the micro-blogging network, helping the phrase become the evening’s top trending topic.
West’s girl, Amber Rose, took to her official Twitter profile (@DaRealAmberRose) to dispel the rumors, and let everyone know Kanye is alive and well.
“This ‘RIPKanyeWest’ topic is not funny and its NOT TRUE! He has people like myself and his family that love him very much,” Amber tweeted. “Its in extreme poor taste to have that as a trendy topic. It’s totally disrespectful to make up a story like this where all human and we all make mistakes and to say someone died cuz of a mistake is ridiculous. U wouldn’t want someone to say that about u.”
Following her reaction, Amber began to post several tweets with the hash tag “#LongLiveYeezy,” in which she posted several Kanye quotables. Below are a few of them:

The news comes over a month after Kanye stormed the VMAs stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech, drawing backlash across the board.
Even President Obama called him “a jackass.”
Despite it all, Amber says she will stand by her man. “I’ll always ride for my man!!!! I’m bout to get off here and still RIDE for him. LITERALLY. Holla,” the model tweeted.

Kanye West And Lady Gaga Both Still Silent Online About Tour Cancellation

The news broke late yesterday that the “Fame Kills” tour, which was meant to be an over-the-top collaboration between flamboyant rapper Kanye West and uber-theatrical pop star Lady Gaga, was canceled before it ever got off the ground (the tickets had only been on sale for about a week). The promoter sent out a press release announcing the cancellation, but no reason was given for the tour’s DOA status, and so far both West and Gaga have remained silent about why they’re not going on the road together.

Gaga is normally pretty active on Twitter, but she went silent on September 24 (the same day that tickets to the “Fame Kills” tour went on sale). Her last update plugs the tickets to the show and talks about how excited she is to present new songs on the trek.
Meanwhile, Web enthusiast Kanye West has updated his personal four times since the announcement, though none of the posts have mentioned the tour. The posts exist in West’s usual blogging idiom, so they focus on design, architecture and cool videos he likes. However, the promos for the “Fame Kills” tour (which center around a topless Lady Gaga) have disappeared from the blog.
It should also be noted that the official site for the tour is still up, but the announcement about the tour cancellation is up. It’s a sad image, actually, as the word “CANCELLED” appears (misspelled, clearly), acting as a reminder of what could have been.
