Megan Fox to replace Victoria Beckham as the face and body of new Emporio Armani Underwear campaign

See you later, Posh! Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, 33, has been replaced in the 2010 Emporio Armani Underwear campaign by the younger and admittedly much sexier Megan Fox. Beginning soon, Fox will appear in Armani’s underwear ads, giving her male fans plenty to be happy about.

Beckham has been the face and body of the Armani campaign for the past year. She decided not to renew her contract with Armani for another year so that she would be able to focus more on her own fashion line, dVb Style. That’s probably a good decision, considering the line has been pulled out of several stores for lack of sales. Although this does beg the question over how much time she spent working on the underwear campaign. A day here, a day there? Hardly sounds like it took up all her time!
Fox, 23, will provide a new edgy look for Armani. The controversial actress has been known to say whatever she is thinking, which has led to some interesting quotes (like comparing Michael Bay to Hitler). Her last film, Jennifer’s Body, was a flop and though she decried her experiences on the two Transformers films, she will reprise her role for the third installment.
David Beckham, who also modeled for the Armani underwear line, was recently replaced by Cristiano Ronaldo. The Beckhams occasionally shot photos for the campaign together, but sources have said that Fox and Ronaldo will not appear together. Fox will also be modeling for the Armani jeans campaign.
